From childhood and still today my Aunt Ruby is my favorite cook. She puts together what I consider the best home cooked meal that alot of people would call country cooking. The tender homemade biscuits kept me going back for more and the wonderful cake with chocolate icing was a treat to end the meal. Of course there were meats and vegetable and salads and all the fixins’ plus the fun of being with my family. At church suppers her dishes were always the first on my plate. I make many of the dishes now myself but it never seems quite the same. Here’s hoping she will share some of her secrets.
