My latest dish to try from Pinterest was for Cheesy Vegetable Chowder. The recipe has had an original pin 3 times and has been repinned the best I can tell close to 600 times and been liked close to 50 times. The above photo is from one of the original pins and is linked to the original website where Melissa shares the story and history of this fantastic soup. Melissa has many more delish offerings and you can find it all starting at her homepage : www.luluthebaker.blogspot.com
My family truly enjoyed this soup. It was creamy and loaded with vegetables yet wasn’t heavy nor to thick. I added some salt and pepper to ours as well as a bit of extra cheese just because my family likes soup this way but in tasting it before doing so it was very good the way it was as well. I didn’t take very long to put this soup together and clean up was easy as well. I served the soup with chicken salad on mini croissants and fed four people, 2 being men who had seconds. The Hubby and I finished it off for supper the next night and being refrigerated overnight might have even gave it better flavor. I don’t think you would be disappointed in this soup at all and I am sure you would enjoy Melissa’s blog! Here are the pictures of my experience with the soup:
